Christine is an attorney who focuses her practice on child welfare law and systems change to promote continuous quality improvement.
As a federal contractor, Christine supports the Federal Government’s efforts to integrate legal and judicial professionals into the Child and Family Services Reviews that assess each state’s child welfare system’s functioning. She was formerly the Coordinator of the New York State Child Welfare Court Improvement Project within the State’s Office of Court Administration. Prior to this appointment, Christine served as a Court Attorney Referee in Oneida County Family Court where she presided over a best practices permanency part. She also served as a court attorney to two family court judges.
Christine represented parents as the First Assistant Public Defender for the Oneida County Public Defender’s Office - Civil Division and represented many children and youth.
Christine regularly presents around the country on child welfare substantive and systems change topics.
