Adrianne Fennell Bonifacio is an attorney in private practice in Yorktown Heights, Westchester County, NY. She has recently retired from the Attorney for the Child panel, where she represented children in abuse and neglect, custody and visitation, juvenile delinquency and PINS matters in Family Court, Westchester County. She continues to represent foster parents who are adopting from the Department of Social Services.

Prior to private practice, Adrianne worked at the national office of the NAACP, Special Contribution Fund in support of United States of America v. City of Yonkers and at Sussman and Sussman in Yonkers, NY, also focusing on the Yonkers litigation as well as other civil and criminal matters.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Adrianne worked as a social worker at Graham-Windham and as a caseworker and supervisor at the New York City Department of Social Services. Adrianne received a Bachelor of Arts from Fisk University, an HBCU in Nashville, Tennessee; a Masters of Arts in Psychology from Fordham University, Bronx, NY; and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School, Newark NJ. She is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in New York, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Westchester Women’s Bar Association. Adrianne was a member of the Board of Directors of Student Advocacy, Inc., a non-profit agency in Elmsford, NY, which works to see that children receive the free, appropriate education to which they are entitled. Adrianne is married to Philip, a retired psychologist. They have one daughter who lives and works in New York City.
