Information Gateway
Formerly
the National Clearinghouse on Child Abuse and Neglect Information and
the National Adoption Information Clearinghouse, the Child Welfare
Information Gateway provides access to information and resources to
help protect children and strengthen families. This site offers a
wealth of information including an extensive list of publications
available in html and Word formats.

The
Children's Bureau of
the Administration for Children and Families of the US Department of
Health and Human Services is the oldest federal agency for children.
The agency provides grants to States, Tribes and communities to operate
a range of child welfare services including child protective services
(child abuse and neglect) family preservation and support, foster care,
adoption and independent living. This site provides a wealth of
information and statistics on these and subjects.

Thomas - U.S.
Congress on the Internet
provides extensive links to member and committee information,
legislative calendars and the Congressional Record. It also provides
