The Court Appointed Special Advocates Assistance Program The Court Appointed Special Advocates Assistance Program is a program of the Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Court Improvement Programs, within the NYS Office of Court Administration's Division of Court Operations. The Program supports the operations of CASA programs.

The Family Court and You is well written informational guide on what to expect when appearing in family court in New York State. It discusses the process, the different types of cases that go before family court as well as a giving a description of roles of the people working in family court.

The New York State Council on Children and Families is a state agency within the Executive Department charged with ensuring the coordination of services to children and families in order to achieve the most rational and effective services system possible. This site provides information on the various initiatives of the Council including the New York State Kids Well-Being Clearinghouse (KWIC) which presents children's health, education and well-being indicators as a means to help assess needs, design and improve programs, and sharpen the focus on outcomes.
